Pramoxine HCl USP

Pramoxine is a topical anesthetic and antipruritic medication used to temporarily relieve pain and itching caused by minor skin irritations, insect bites, rashes , and hemorrhoids.

Common Uses

Pramoxine is widely available over-the-counter (OTC) and in prescription formulations to treat:Insect bites and minor stings.
Contact dermatitis from poison ivy, oak, or sumac.
Sunburns, minor scrapes, and dry, itchy skin.
Anorectal discomfort, including hemorrhoids and minor rectal itching.
