Tretinoin USP is a prescription-grade topical retinoid (a synthetic Vitamin A derivative) that increases skin cell turnover. It is primarily used to treat acne vulgaris, smooth rough skin, and reduce fine wrinkles or dark spots caused by sun damage
For the the induction of remission in patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL), French-American-British (FAB) classification M3 (including the M3 variant); For the topical treatment of acne vulgaris, flat warts and other skin conditions (psoriasis, ichthyosis congenita, icthyosis vulgaris, lamellar icthyosis, keratosis palmaris et plantaris, epidermolytic hyperkeratosis, senile comedones, senile keratosis, keratosis follicularis (Darier’s disease), and basal cell carcinomas.); For palliative therapy to improve fine wrinkling, mottled hyperpigmentation, roughness associated with photodamage

Safety Warnings
Sun Protection: You must apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher every morning during treatment and limit direct sun exposure.
Pregnancy: Tretinoin should not be used if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, as it carries risks of birth defects.
Drug Interactions: Avoid using harsh or drying acne products (like benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, or abrasive scrubs) at the same time, as they can severely aggravate skin sensitivity.
